These two-hour-long workshops are aimed at people who might not have the time during the week to make it to yoga; who want a more in-depth and focused practice on specific topics or who have particular yoga needs/interests. Workshops start at 10am on the following dates:
Yoga for relaxation (29.03.20)
Melt away stress, anxiety, muscular tension in this slow, chilled and soothing workshop. Yin style yoga, mediation and breathing techniques to rest your body into rest and digest mode. You’ll be floating when you leave. Bring a blanket and pillow for yoga nidra (sleep yoga) at the end.
Yoga for sportspeople (26.4.19)
Tight hamstrings and hips or achy knees and back? We’ll stretch out these areas to improve your running, horse riding, tennis and other sports activities. Learn strengthening and balance techniques to improve alignment, aid recovery and help you avoid injury.
Please arrive 5-10mins early to allow yourself to settle on your mat and tell me about any injuries etc.
